Our History
Founded in 1983 by Virginia natives Kenneth Shifflett and Anthony Clatterbuck, Ace Carpentry began as a local framing contractor and has grown into one of the Mid-Atlantic’s leading turnkey framing companies. Over four decades, we’ve evolved into a diversified multi-state operation delivering high-volume framing solutions for residential, multifamily, student housing, and military projects. We’re proud to work with many of the nation’s top Developers and General Contractors—relationships built on trust, performance, and consistency.
Our team is experienced, reliable, and committed to doing the job right, with many field leaders having been with Ace for 20+ years. Ace is also a proud member of the National Framers Council. As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: quality craftsmanship, jobsite safety, and dependable execution.
